Founders

Christian and Katarina Perret Gentil dit Maillard are the founders of the InGlobEn Institute. Both are non-native English speakers, for whom English has been an essential mean of communication in their private and professional lives. Christian was born in Switzerland, where he lived his childhood, and Katarina is Slovenian. Christian holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from PUC SP and a master’s degree in philosophy in the area of mathematical logic from USP, Brazil. For a year, he studied English in Canada at a well-known language institute. Katarina finished her University of Education in Slovenia, focused on teaching English, with exchange programs and courses in Sweden and the Netherlands. She has worked in the English language field in several countries, developing courses, curricula, English teaching projects and training English teachers in several countries such as Slovenia, the Netherlands, India, Brazil and China. Both lived abroad in several countries for longer periods. They met in India, where they both lived, studied and worked for a period. In 2018, they decided to open a language institute, offering English courses to Portuguese speaking students.
